The "Wicked Crazy Studio Sale" was a lot of fun and a resounding success. Now it's time for new directions and experimentation. I came across this AMAZING piece of stone that has vaulted me into my next creation. This one is going to take some time so stay tuned.
In the meantime, I'm also working on new dance pieces . . . wooo hooo!

Marcus was here visiting so I spent NO time on the computer. It was wonderful having my baby to hug. I think I'll bask in the warmth of that feeling for a little bit.
The end of January I spent a wonderfully inspiring weekend with my friend and fellow artist, Diane Scott
. She has the BEST studio sitting on a lake in New Hampshire. What a wonderful place! Check out her website by clicking on her name. She has wonderful pieces that I'm sure you'll enjoy.
WooooHooooo! Marcus advanced to the quarter finals at the Volcom Pipeline Pro
competition. Click on this link, go to day 2 and scroll down to Round 64 Heat 3 to see Marcus in his second heat. It's raw excitement!
Wanting to do my part, as humble a part as that may be, I donated "The Deep Blue"
to the The American Red Cross. I truly believe that when you're allowed to help others the benefit to your heart is great and swift.
October 2009 I took a trip to my homeland (Panama') and had a wonderful time. Here are a couple of photos . . . I hope to go back soon.

The area behind her is where my mother was born.

This is a very cool church in El Valle which is nestled up in the mountains.

This piece of driftwood looked like a bird to me.
