The “Eye of Horus” has long been a symbol in the ancient Egyptian religion for healing, well-being and protection.

The really curious thing is that it is almost a direct depiction of our pineal gland, located in the center of our brain. It plays an important role in our endocrine system and has been said to “house our soul”. It is often also referred to as our “third eye”.

I like to think that my particular rendition not only provides protection but offers a sweet “centeredness” that we find in nature.
